The Creative Power of God’s Word

Great word from Dutch this morning! Our declaration this Sat over our counties and cities is about GATES. We need to close the GATES to all things counter to God’s plan and open the GATES to God’s plans and purposes.

The greatest weapon God has given us often goes unsheathed. If Christ used the spoken word as His number one weapon, shouldn’t we do the same. He used the WORD against the enemy and He often quoted old testament passages when He spoke.

As Derek Prince said, “Every believer has both the privilege and the responsibility to proclaim God’s Word. When we make the words of our mouths agree with the Word of God, we position ourselves to receive the full backing and authority of Jesus. We are releasing the authority of God’s word into a situation.”

It is the Word of God in declarations, prayer, or songs, that will NOT return void. It is the Word of God that He must make good on, not our desires.

If you could record your entire day and all you speak… what are you speaking out over yourself, your family, your neighborhood, your co-workers, your city/county/state? Are your words laced with bitterness, anger, despair, fear, anxiety, regret, offense, or unforgiveness? Are you constantly talking about your past, your childhood, someone that wronged you? You need to close your personal GATES to these things.

We need to shift our words. We need to speak restoration, refreshing, remodeling, reformation, revival, divine destiny, over our lives, families, city/county/nation. We open the GATES to God’s plans and purposes. It is His desire that all men are saved. Stop speaking out destruction, damnation and judgement on others. Speak Mercy, Mercy, Mercy. Speak the Goodness of God over your situations, family and our nation. It is the Goodness of God that leads to repentance (Rom 2:4).

Speak Life & Light over yourself, your family, your city/nation. Life & Light is found in the WORD.
